Free and open source CAD
Model solids from sketches, right in your browser.
Draw curves, then extrude, revolve, sweep, fillet and combine them into solid parts. Export them for 3D printing as 3MF, STL or STEP.
No sign-up, nothing to install. Works offline once loaded.

From sketch to printable part
Solid modeling with exact dimensions. One unit is a millimeter.
Sketch on any plane
Lines, arcs, circles, ellipses, polygons, rectangles and free curves, on the grid or on any face.
Shape solids
Extrude, revolve, sweep and loft sketches into solids, or pipe a profile along a curve.
Refine them
Fillet and chamfer edges, shell solids, offset and draft faces, mirror and array bodies.
Combine bodies
Union, subtract and intersect solids, or cut them in two with a curve.
Precise to the millimeter
Type exact lengths and angles while you draw, and snap to the grid, points, edges and faces.
Ready to print
Export 3MF, STL and OBJ for your slicer, or STEP for other CAD apps. Import all four, too.
Made for the web
A real CAD kernel, OpenCascade, running on your own computer.
Nothing to install
Solidify runs in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop. Open it and start drawing.
Or install it as an app
Give it a window of its own. Installed from Chrome or Edge, it opens .solidify files from the desktop.
Works offline
Once it has loaded, Solidify keeps working without a connection, in a tab as well as installed.
Your files stay yours
Documents, autosaves and settings stay in your browser and on your disk. Nothing you make is uploaded.
Open source
Solidify is free, and licensed under the GNU LGPL 3.0. It grew out of Plasticity by Nick Kallen, and models with the OpenCascade geometry kernel. Read the code, report a problem or send a change on GitHub.
